Public Service Announcement - Technology Breakdown

Hello everybody,
it finally happened - my laptop died...

Of course while I am on a business trip...

So for the next week I'll only have an emergency back-up laptop, without any bookmarks etc... Therefore posts quality and quantity will suffer a bit...

Sorry for the inconvenience.
And if anybody has a recommendation for a laptop that can take a fair share of traveling in a backpack, let me know.

Cheers,
Falk

  2. Technology.
The better it gets the less reliable it gets.
I much prefer using a Tablet now since my laptop died. Easier to carry and not too expensive.

  4. think pad (not ibm anymore) and dell xps are very popular and what my institution use. if you are on the go you SHOULD get a solid state drive. Also as much ram as you can afford (4gb is just not enough anymore).

  5. I just got a re-conditioned Dell XPS15. Very robust and great processing speed.
